Crucially, citation practices do not differ between the two styles of paper. These differences mostly extend to the title page and running head. All lines after the first line of each entry should be indented half an inch from the left margin. As in the rest of the body text, an APA reference page should be double-spaced. Note: The APA Publication Manual, 7 th Edition specifies different formatting conventions for student and professional papers (i.e., papers written for credit in a course and papers intended for scholarly publication). The page should be labeled References, centered at the top of the page and without any formatting (do not bold, italicize, underline or use quotation marks).
